Leave it to Mother Nature to take one more swipe out of the North Georgia racing scene this weekend.
Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia was slated to host the Georgia State Championship weekend over the next few days. But impending wet weather led track officials to postpone the event until next weekend, November 17-19. For more info, visit LavoniaSpeedway.net.
The wet weather also led officials at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia to cancel the Peach State Classic at the 3/8-mile raceway. For more information, visit SenoiaRaceway1969.com.
