RAB Racing has announced that the team will replace driver John Wes Townley in their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Toyota for an undetermined period of time following Townley’s arrest this week for alleged DUI in Georgia.
“Obviously, this is an unfortunate situation,” said Robby Benton, owner of RAB Racing with Brack Maggard in a Friday release. “However, we have to react to the severity of the incident accordingly. His actions do not reflect those of RAB Racing, nor the sponsors associated with the team.”
“John Wes has accepted full responsibility, and will take the necessary personal steps in order to correct his actions, among other internal sanctions,” Benton continued. “We stand by John Wes, and will welcome him back to the team at the appropriate time.”

Natural aphrodisiacs assist to increase libido and sex desire. get cialis According to a report in the Athens Banner Herald, Townley, of Watkinsville, GA, was arrested on DUI charges after police in Oconee County, Georgia responded to a call of a “suspicious man knocking on the back door of a home.” According to the report, the man was said to be “disoriented and seemingly intoxicated.”
Officers found the man, identified as Townley, “swaying from side to side and bleeding from his bare feet,” the newspaper reported.
The officers took Townley to jail after locating his car, a 2012 BMW, which had traveled off the roadway and into a telephone pole, according to the newspaper report.
RAB Racing has yet to announce who will be replacing Townley.
