Meredith Motors To Limited Late Model Win At Anderson

Anderson Motor Speedway opened up the 2022 season on Friday night with Neil Meredith scoring the Limited Late Model victory at the Williamston, South Carolina track.

The Anderson, South Carolina native was fastest in qualifying on the high banked 3/8-mile asphalt raceway, giving him the pole for the 40-lap feature.

Meredith converted that pole into a trip to victory lane, as he beat Ashton Higgins to the checkered flag for the win.

Ralph Carnes followed in third, with Justin Sorrow in fourth, and Austin Northcutt in fifth.

Jock White, John Gallman, Archie Adams, R.A. Brown, and Chris Smith rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Bryan Mitchell held off Kaden Howard for the BM Modifieds feature victory. Jason McDowell finished third, with Rodger Gentry fourth, and Scott Robinson fifth.

B.J. Thrasher took home the Mini Stock feature win, with Ryan Howard in second, Chad Campbell in third, Jeffrey Kummer in fourth, and David Darnell in fifth.

Riley Halverson topped the U.S. Legends field to take the feature win. Mitchell Thompson finished in second, followed by Salvador Jimenez in third, Damon Burdette in fourth, and Brandon Johnson in fifth.

Michael Mote was the winner in the Pure Stocks feature. Danny Gilbert, Mark Sullivan, Rob Horton, and Brandon Daves rounded out the top five.

Joshua Thomason won in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Allen Porter second, Scott Parker third, Austin Harvey fourth, and Zach Beale fifth.
