Thomas Segars led wire-to-wire en route to the Modified Street feature victory on Saturday night at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway.

That’s not to say it was a walk in the park for the veteran racer for Oglethorpe, Georgia. After jumping to the lead on the drop of the green flag, Segars came under fire several times from pole sitter Tye Nalley as the two raced around the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

Segars would hold the top spot through the feature, but Nalley was never far behind. In the end, Segars held off the challenge to score the victory, with Nalley in second. Chad Puckett followed in third, with Kyle Gordon in fourth and Jason Burton in fifth.

In other action, Parker Herring held off fast qualifiyer Jimmy Johnson to take the Limited Late Model feature win. Royce Bray finished in third, with Bubba Russell in fourth and Danny Sanders in fifth.

Royce Bray took top honors in the Hobby feature. Cody Segars finished second, with Joe Yarbrough third, Clay Thompson fourth and Ryan Boles in fifth.

Shannon Duck was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Seth Brown, Mason Johnson, Ricky Chamberlain and Jake Jordon rounding out the top five.

Caylin Kettle scored the victory in the Stock 4 feature, with Harley Holden second, Pete Whitley third, Dustin Bales fourth and Brandon Hammond fifth.

Aiden Fortson took the win in the Young Guns feature. Logan Gunter followed in second, with Hunter Childress in third, Thomas Shaw in fourth and Cohen Fortson in fifth.

Josh Campbell beat out Randy Shaw to score the Front Wheel Drive feature victory, with Alex Powell in third, Brandon Grimes in fourth and Michael David in fifth.
