Charlie Watson scored the Bojangles Late Model Stock feature victory in dominating fashion on Saturday night at North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway.
Ryan Millington brought the field to green, with Austin McDaniel taking the early lead. McDaniel would lead the first 25 laps before coming under fire from Watson. The pair made slight contact, with Watson taking the point.
From there, Watson would drive away o the win, with McDaniel finishing in second. Landon Huffman finished third, followed by Millington, who locked up the division points championship. Marietta, Georgia’s Cody Haskins finished in fifth.
In other action, Darren Dickinson scored the win in the Renegades feature, with David Hasson in second, Justin Austin in third and R.J. Williams in fourth. Kyle DiVanna, the division points champion, finished in fifth.
Allen Huffman was the winner in the One Design Super Trucks feature. Sheflon Clay finished in second, clinching the division points championship. Colby White came home in third, with Keith Norville in fourth and Travis Baity in fifth.
Landon Huffman was the winner in the Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Model feature, with Alex Reece in second, Pat Rachels in third, Monty Cox in fourth and Akinori Ogata in fifth. Division points champion Jeremy Pelfrey was part of a multi-car crash on the opening lap and would be credited with an 11th place finish.
Curtis Pardue took the 4 Cylinder feature win and the division championship in the process. Robert Trivette, Allison Houston, Brian Mundy and Robbie Lewis rounded out the top five.
Cody DeMarmels was the winner in the Cosmo Motors Street Stocks feature, with Marshall Sutton in second, Eric Evans in third, and Mark Whitten in fifth. Kevin Eby finished fifth to lock up the division championship.
