Atlanta Dragway All-Commerce Super Pro Win To Ledford

Saturday’s Super Pro final at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia came down to a battle of hometown heroes.

Chas Ledford from Commerce defeated fellow Commerce resident Mark Hancock to score his first career division victory.

Ledford ran a 5.376 ET off his 5.36 dial in at 127.05 mph and a reaction time of 0.002. Hancock ran a 5.765 ET on his 5.76 dial in (dead on) at 119.56 mph and a slower reaction of 0.042.

Randy Barnett defeated Jimmy Heisler for the win in the Street ET Bike final with a 9.330 ET on a dial in of 9.28 at 143.92 mph and a 0.030 reaction time. Heisler had a red light state and ran a 10.636 ET on his 10.59 dial in at 127.38 mph and a -0.046 reaction time.

In the 5-9 JR Dragster finals, 8-year-old Ava Ward scored her first win, defeating 8-year-old Malachi Edward. Ward ran an 11.989 ET on her dial of 11.93 at 53.30 mph and a 0.057 reaction time. Edwards ran a 11.965 ET on his 11.97 dial in (break out) at 53.62 mph and a 0.155 reaction.

Cannon Stiles scored the 10-12 JR Dragster victory, by defeating Michelle Vanacia in the final. Stiles ran an 8.931 ET on his 8.90 dial in at 69.73 mph and a 0.027 reaction time. Vancica ran an 8.963 ET off an 8.90 dial in at 58.36 mph and a reaction of 0.131.

Semifinals, Stiles had single and Vancica defeated car #2909, no name available.

In the 13-18 JR Dragster final, 17-year-old Adrian Wilson defeated Jessie Daniel for the win. Wilson ran a 7.911 ET on a dial of 7.90 at 81.15 mph and a reaction of 0.043. Daniel ran a 7.962 oh her 7.90 dial in at 78.41 mph and a 0.030 reaction time.

In the Junior Street final, 16-year-old Makaila Hinsley defeated 14-year-old Nate Halsey. Hinsley ran an 11.740 ET on her 11.57 dial in at 63.23 mph and a 0.240 reaction time. Halsey ran a 9.351 ET off his dial in of 9.00 at 59.00 mph and a 0.090 reaction.
