It was a familiar face landing in victory lane at Lavonia Speedway Friday night, as Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance drove to the FASTRAK Pro Late Model victory at the Lavonia, Georgia raceway.
The Six Mile, South Carolina speedster held off Will Beard to score the victory, his first of the season at Lavonia.
Mitchell Godfrey finished in third, with Vince Fanello in fourth and Adam Partain in fifth.
Cody Pritchett, Scotty Chatham, Daniel Wilson, Cameron Crowe and Derrick Harvey rounded out the top ten.
Also in action on Friday was the 602 Thunder Series, with Nick Sellers scoring the victory. Mitchell Godfrey finished in second, followed by Chris Wilbanks in third, Rod Roberts in fourth and Chris Steele in fifth.
Brandon Stroud, Ty Anglin, Mart Patterson, John Howard and Chris Patterson completed the top ten finishers.
In other action, Mark Wilbanks scored the win in the Modified Street feature, with Clifton Snow in second, Tyler Brown in third, Keith Baker in fourth and Daniel Snow in fifth.
Ray Foskey took the victory in the Stock 8 feature. Hayes Morrison finished second, followed by Terry Brown in third, Danny Murray in fourth and Cal Moon in fifth.
Harley Holden was the winner in the Stock 4 feature. Chris Little, Jeff Dobbs, Dustin Bales and Mike Little rounded out the top five.
In the Rookie 4 feature, it was Nathan Bowen scoring the victory, with Parris Simmons in second, Brett Langston in third, Nathaniel Little in fourth and Cody Loudermilk in fifth.
Daniel Reynolds took the win in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Jackie Holden finished second, with John Smother third and Debbie Lynn in fourth.
