With rain still falling at Daytona International Speedway, ARCA Racing Series officials, in conjunction with track officials, made the decision to cancel Friday’s test session.
Given the amount of rain that had already fallen, and the continual rain was still coming down, the estimate of time to dry the track was beyond the on-track window series officials had to work with.
As a result of losing the entire day Friday, Series officials are adding a complete day of testing Sunday with two sessions, from 9:00 am – noon, and another from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
