TAMPA, FL – Kyle Bronson swept into the lead late in the going in Saturday night’s Gagel’s Open Wheel Modified feature, and went on to score the win at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL.
Bronson took over with just two laps to go, and pulled away for the victory over Buzzie Reutimann in second and Roger Crouse in third. Roger Crouse finished in fourth, with Steve Miller in fifth.
In other action, Buck Woodhouse won his ninth Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks feature of the year with hard chargers William Burnside and David Barwick, II rounding out the top three. Thomas Burnside finished in fourth, with Billy Barstow in fifth.
In the V8 Warrior feature, it was Tommy Hill picking up the win after Roy Woodhouse and Mike Wilson got together, crashing just before the finish line. Finishing second was Jimmy Baker, with Jeremy Simpson in third, Jody Robbins in fourth and Bill Dixon in fifth.
Phillip Cobb went for the win as the Late Model feature event ran caution free. Dave Schmauss finished second, with Doug Horton third, Kyle Bronson in fourth and Dalton Myers in fifth.
Dan Darnell scored the win in the Florida Old Time Modifieds over Dave Kelley in second and Jamie Franklin in third. Tom McDonald and Bob Fink rounded out the top five.
