WOODSTOCK, GA – Michael Page held off a hard charging Ray Cook to score the Super Late Model feature win Saturday night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
Preston Graves took the initial lead in the feature only to give it up on lap six when he was passed by Page. Cook and Jason Croft also moved past for second and third as the top three cars broke away from the rest of the field. Cook began to put pressure on Page for the lead, even taking the lead on one lap only to lose it due to lapped traffic. Page held off Cook to take the win with Croft in third, while Dale Thurman got around Shawn Chastain in the closing laps for fourth.
In the Steel Head Late Model feature, Don Jenkins scored his 50th career win at Dixie Speedway. Chris Fennell followed in second holding off Oliver Gentry in third. Matt Black and Rick Jennings completed the top five.
Hunter Jones spent most of the season in the Crate Late models finishing in the top five most every week, Saturday night he made his way to Victory Lane for the first time. Jones kept a ten car length lead on the second and third place cars of Justin Shipley and Zach Pilcher as those two staged a battle for the position with Shipley getting second by half a car length. Maddie Crane came from the back for fourth followed by Ted Minnix in fifth.
Andy Morris took a big lead and went on to win the Super Bomber race ahead of Randall Powell, Terry Vollrath, Terry Fennell, and Josh Pilcher.
Drew Larsons took his first career victory Saturday night by winning the Economy Bomber feature by several car lengths over second place Ryan Ray. David Burtz finished in third, followed by Doug Ellis in fourth and Landon Bagby in fifth.
The Pony Stock feature would see Jeremy Millsaps lead the way for the victory ahead of Mitchell Pope, Travis Smith, Jake Jones, and C.J. Dettmar.
Todd Lankster went on to Victory Lane once again in the Cruiser feature with Edwin Scott in second, George Wilson third, Tim Pittman fourth and Randy Ledford fifth.
