Casey Roberts made the trip from Toccoa to Rome Speedway in Rome, GA worthwhile Sunday night when he took the checkered flag in the Super Late Model feature.

With beautiful weather, and 28 Super Late Models on hand, Roberts qualified on the pole. Taking the initial lead, Roberts led the way until midway through the race when the lead cars caught up to lapped traffic. Ivedent Lloyd took the lead while Roberts slipped back to third. With less than a handful of laps left the caution flew for a car stopped on the speedway bringing about a restart with four laps to go. When the green flew, Roberts jumped from third to first by the time they reached turn three and remained there to take the feature win. Ivedent Lloyd claimed second followed by Donald McIntosh. Derek Ellis made his way home trailed by Dillon Woods who came from fourteenth to finish fifth.

Mike McConnell took the win in the Limited Late Model class as he held off Jason Smith in second. Matt Dooley made his way to third after starting 14th, followed by Chris Fennell and Don Jenkins to complete the top five.

Craig Reece led every lap to take the Crate Late Model feature. Positions changed several times for the rest of the top five. When the checkers fell, Tyler Allen held the second spot closely followed by Mark Page in third. Rounding out the top five were Zach Pilcher and Justin Shipley.

Kirk Atkins drove his Chrysler powered racer to victory lane in the Super Bomber feature ahead of Andy Morris in second. Third through Fifth were taken by Kenny Taylor, Daniel Brewer and Richard Bagby.

Shane Smith took the lead in the Economy Bomber feature and was never challenged. Racing was hot and heavy for those following and when all was said and done Jackie Waites found himself with a second place finish followed by Corey Wright, and Dan Meadows. Ronnie Sanders followed in fifth.

The Pony Stock Feature would see Shannon Etheridge go to victory lane. He was followed by Ronnie Faucett, Jake Jones, Jeremy Ray and Jeremy Millsaps in second thru fifth.

The Cruisers were the final event of the night with Joe Trantham taking the victory as he held off Todd Lancaster in second. Completing the top five were Jimmy Wilson, George Wilson and John Sexton.
