Rusty Jordan took the win in the Modified Street feature victory in the season opener Saturday night at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA.
Jordan, of Elberton, GA, led the feature flag to flat. It was a special win for Jordan, as it was the “Papa Snooks Memorial”, a race dedicated in honor of his grandfather who passed away earlier in the week. Several members of the Brown family were present to honor their lost loved one.
Clifton Snow finished in second, with Brant Carey in third, Chris Jones in fourth, and Matthew Denton in fifth.
In other action, David McCoy, fresh off a victory the night before up the road in Lavonia, GA, scored the Crate Late Model win, with Colby Cannon in second. Blake Crafton finished in third, with Grant Jordan in fourth, and Brad Morehead in fifth.
McCoy doubled up on the night with a win in the Limited Late Model feature. Kenny Collins came home in second, followed by Wesley English, Shane Yarbrough, and Bubba Russell.
Hometown Hero Adam Partain picked up the win in the Young Guns feature. Jessica Still came across the line in second, followed by Taylor Holcomb in third, Payton Freeman in fourth, and Travis Hubbard in fifth.
J.J. Garrett was first under the checkered flag for the Stock Four victory. Mitchell Godfrey, Kevin Kelly, Cody Byrum, and Shane Strickland rounded out the top five.
In Up Fronts action, Keith Hicks made the trip to victory lane. Wayne Chapman finished second, with Trey Chapman in third, Mike Mosley in fourth, and Josh Wells in fifth.
Michael Segars came across the finish line first for the Stock V8 win. Jesse Thurmond finished in second, with Terry Brown in third, Ricky Chamberlain in fourth, and Danny Murray in fifth.
