Frankie Beard raced his way back into the winners circle at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA Saturday night, claiming his ninth victory and furthering his points lead over Grant Jordan in the FASTRAK Late Model division.
Beard started his trek to victory lane from the front row alongside Colby Cannon. At the drop of the green flag, Beard quickly surged ahead beating Cannon into turn one for the lead, and never looked back leading all twenty laps, making car owner Jessica Cornett very happy with the victory.
Kyre Mullaney finished third, with Grant Jordan in fourth, and Nathan Bray in fifth.
In other action, Bubba Russell made another trip to victory lane in the Limited Late Model feature. He beat out Brandon Haley for the win. Shane Yarbrough finished third, with Keith Freeman in fourth, and Grant Jordan in fifth.
In the Modified Street feature, Chris Cape came away with the victory. Chris Jones followed Cape to the finish line to take second. Tyler Brown came home third, with Austin Dove in fourth, and Richard Jones in fifth.
Otis Fleeman topped the field in the Stock V8 feature. Joseph Teasley, Terry Brown, Ricky Chamberlain, and April Brown rounded out the top five.
Bryce Alewine scored the victory in the Stock Four Cylinder feature. Chris Wilson finished second, with Dustin Bales in third, Ryan Boles in fourth, and Cody Byrum in fifth.
In Young Guns action, Drew Collins beat out Adam Partain for the win. Jessica Still finished third, with Taylor Holcomb fourth.
Seth Brown came across the finish line first to win the Up Front feature. Steven Powell ran second, with Keith Hicks in third, Joel Powell, Sr. in fourth, and Michael Mosley in fifth.
