Bubba Russell proved that Saturday night at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA. After losing the engine in his Limited Late Model a few weeks back, the Comer, GA driver brought his Super Late Model to Hartwell Saturday, equipped with a new Limited Late Model power plant.
The plan worked, as Russell sailed to the victory, beating out Parker Herring for the Limited Late Model win. Jimmy Johnson finished third, with Brandon Haley in fourth, and Donnie Barrett in fifth.
In other action, Brian Conner scored the victory in the FASTRAK Late Model feature. Frankie Beard came home second, with Jimmy Feltman in third, Colby Cannon in fourth, and Danny Sanders in fifth.
Rusty Jordan was first under the checkered flag in the Modified Street feature. Paul Byrum would finish second, with Dean Butler, Clayton Callaway, and Greg Scoggins rounding out the top five.
In the Stock V8 feature, Otis Fleeman outdistanced Joseph Teasley for the victory. Ricky Chamberlain finished third, with Kevin Gooch in fourth, and Colby Thornton in fifth.
Cy Strickland made the trip to victory lane in the Stock Four Cylinder feature. Jimmy Little finished second, with Cody Byrum in third, Ryan Boles in fourth, and Dustin Bales in fifth.
In the Young Guns feature, Drew Collins topped the field to pick up the win. Adam Partain came home second, with Austin Brumbelow, Jessica Still, and Mitchell Ledford rounding out the top five.
Michael Mosley scored the win in the Up Front feature. Seth Brown finished second, with Keith Hicks third, Jonathan Starrett fourth, and James Goodwin in fifth.
