Ingram Scores Super Late Model Win At Dixie

Frank Ingram scored his first Super Late Model victory of the year at the legendary Dixie Speedway last Saturday.

Ingram beat out Michael Page, Tony Knowles, Wayne Echols and Jake Knowles to round out the top five.

In the Limited Late Model event, Oliver Gentry picked up the win, his fist of the season at Dixie. Michael Brewer was second, followed by Jason Williams, Ryan West and Danny Carter.

In the Crate Late Model division, Mark Page picked up the win in the first feature, followed by Donald McIntosh, Carey Smith, Darrel Owenby and Josh Watson. Watson would come back to win the second feature, followed by Jeremy Ledford, Page, Austin Smith and McIntosh.

Spence Rackley made his way to Dixie’s victory lane by beating out Kenny Taylor for the win. They were followed by Tim Ford, Richard Bagby and Timmy Millwood.

In the Econo Bomber feature, Justin Shipley topped Cody Richards for the win, followed by Rob Johnson, John Davis and John Binger.

Jeff Dobbs beat all comers for the win in the Pony Stock feature, with Matt Smith, David Dobbs, Ronnie Faucett and Ross Bains rounding out the top five.

Eric Neese swept the Crusier features, winning both events. Joe Trantham finished second in both events as well. Tim Pittman, Edwin Scott and James Gagnon finished third through fifth in the first feature, while Anthony Pittman, Tim Pittman and Randy Ledford rounded out the top five in the second feature.

Action roars back into Dixie Speedway on Saturday, as the USCS Sprint Cars road onto the legendary dirt track, along with Late Models and local divisions. For more information, visit www.dixiespeedway.com.
