Cody Byrum Scores First Stock 4 Cylinder Win At Hartwell

Fans have had the opportunity to see several first time winners at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA this season.  Saturday night, they had the chance again, as Dustin Bales snapped the eight race win streak of Chris Wilson in the Stock Four Cylinder class to score his first career win in the class.

Cody Byrum crossed the finish line second, with Jeffery Lord in third, James Massey in fourth, and Mitchell Godfrey in fifth.

In other action, Parker Herring scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature, beating out Stephen Segars for the win.  Brant Carey ran third, with Paul Byrum in fourth, and Chris Nickerson in fifth.

David McCoy has been tough to beat at other area dirt tracks this year.  Saturday night, he was the man to beat at Hartwell, as he came away with the FASTRAK Late Model victory.  “Hot Rod” LaMance ran second, with Grant Jordan third, Frankie Beard fourth, and Ty Lowe fifth.

Clifton Snow outdistanced Mitchell Godfrey to pick up the Modified Street feature win.  Steve Sellers finished second, with Richard Jones, and Cy Strickland rounding out the top five.

In the Stock V8 division, Otis Fleeman crossed the finish line first to pick up the win.  Ricky Chamberlain ran second, with Justin Mauldin third, Joseph Teasley fourth, and Kevin Gooch in fifth.

Adam Partain came home with the win in the Young Guns feature.  Jason Calhoun ran second, with Austin Brumbelow third.

Hermon Isom topped the field for the Up Front feature win.  Steven Powell ran second, with Wayne Chapman in third, James Goodwin in fourth, and Jonathan Starett in fifth.
