Ralph Carnes has been looking for his first Late Model win of the 2012 season at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC. Friday night, he finally found it.

Brown grabbed the lead at the start of the race and had pulled to a ten car length advantage when the caution dropped on lap ten. On the restart Neil Meredith got the jump and took over the lead spot. Meredith held the lead until lap thirty seven when the second caution flag dropped on the race. This time Brown got the jump and regained the lead position. Brown held the lead until lap forty two when the final caution flag fell on the race.
On the restart, Carnes grabbed the lead and held it the final eight laps to pick up his first win of the season. The victory was the first for Carnes in over a year and a half as his last victory came during the 2010 season. Carnes became the fifth different Late Model winner this season. RA Brown finished second. Neil Meredith finished third. Kenneth Headen finished fourth. Justin Sorrow finished fifth.
In other action, Dylan Hall claimed the win in the B Mini Stock feature. He led every lap of the race and easily out paced the remainder of the field. Several drivers held the second position but none were able to handle Hall. The victory was the first career victory for Hall in the B-Mini Stock division. Chad Campbell finished second. David Darnell finished third. Ryan Howard finished fourth. Ben Kay finished fifth.

But Ellison’s time at the front was short-lived when Donahue went back by him on lap seventeen. This time Donahue pulled away and went on to take the checkered flag. Joe Ryan Osborne finished second. Trey Ellison finished third. Clayton Weathermaker finished fourth. Rex Brown finished fifth.
Ricky Burnett claimed the victory in the Renegade race. Burnett led every lap of the race on his way to his seventh victory of the season. Jack Robertson ran within a couple of car lengths of Burnett but that was as close as he could get to the lead. Jack Robertson finished second. Doug Miller finished third. Blake Galloway finished fourth. Tim Butler finished fifth.
Wayne Cowart picked up the win in the Front Wheel Drive race. Cowart led every lap of the race on his way to his third victory of the season. Tommy Davis finished second. Chris Lawson finished third. Buck Simmons finished fourth. Chris Beacham finished fifth.
