Franek, Hagar Take USCS Sprint Wins At North Alabama

Davie Franek and Derek Hagar both raced their way to victory lane in USCS Sprint Car Series action over the weekend at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Franek was the winner on Saturday night, while Hagar powered to the Sunday afternoon victory at the high banked 3/8-mile clay raceway.

On Saturday, Franek held off Hagar to take home the victory. Howard Moore followed in third, with Dale Howard in fourth and Brady Baker in fifth.

Baker, Ayden Gatewood, Hagar and Danny Smith won their respective heat races, with Hagar also winning the speed dash.

On Sunday, it was Derek Hagar collecting the $2,000 winner’s paycheck with the victory, beating out Chase Howard for the win. Franek followed in third, with Terry Gray in fourth and Baker in fifth.

Baker, Hagar, and Riley Goodno won their respective heats, with Dale Howard winning the speed dash.
