Ashton Winger did something few others have been able to do as of late. He held off Brandon Overton to score the victory in Saturday night’s Michael Head, Jr. Memorial at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.

Winger, from Hampton, Georgia, held off Overton’s late charge to score his fifth career Southern All Stars Dirt Series victory, earning the 21-year-old a $5,054 payday.

Overton, from Evans, Georgia, finished 1.212-seconds behind Winger in second place. Dalton Cook followed in third, with Commerce, Georgia’s Payton Freeman in fourth and Oliver Gentry in fifth.

Sam Seawright, Tyler Millwood, Chase King, J.R. Moseley, and Steven Roberts rounded out the top 10.
