Carson Ferguson held off a drive from Jeremy Pilkerton to score the win in Saturday night’s FASTRAK Racing Series King of the Commonwealth event at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native took home a $3,000 payday for his efforts.

Ferguson worked around Ray Love, Jr. to take the lead in the opening laps. The first caution of the night flew when David Keith’s car suffered damage after hitting a rut in turn one.

The second caution flew after Nick Love was involved in an incident and spun in front of the pack on the backstretch.

Ferguson went on to hold off all challenges to his second career King of the Commonwealth victory.

Jeremy Pilkerton finished in second, with Justin Williams in third, Chuck Bowie in fourth, and Matt Quade in fifth.

Love, Jr., Matt Glanden, Trevor Collins, Chris Buescher, and Dan Brewer rounded out the top 10.
