Mark Smith swept the USCS Sprint Car Series weekend at Louisiana’s Chatham Speedway.
The Sunbury, Pennsylvania racer scored his third and fourth series wins on the season on Saturday and Sunday on the ¼-mile dirt raceway.
On Saturday, Smith edged out outside pole sitter Matt Covington for the lead on the opening lap and never gave up the point the rest of the way.
Covington finished in second, with Connor Leoffler in third, Dale Howard in fourth and Max Stambaugh in fifth.
On Sunday, it was Mark Smith again scored the victory, with Dale Howard following in second, Landon Britt came home in third, with Max Stambaugh in fourth and Davie Franek in fifth.
