Smokey Roberts Scores Modified Street Win At Hartwell

Smokey Roberts held off some tough competition on Saturday night to make his way to victory lane at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway.

The veteran racer from nearby Toccoa, Georgia held off challenges from Thomas Segars and Rusty Jordan to score the Modified Street feature win at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

Segars had to settle for second in the end, with Jordan in third. Tye Nalley followed in fourth, with Johnny Pilgrim in fifth.

In other action, Adam Partain scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature, with Payton Freeman in second, Bubba Russell in third, Stephen Segars in fourth and Parker Herring in fifth.

Crandall Turner was the winner in the Hobby feature, with Clay Thompson, Royce Bray, Shane Yarbrough and Jimmy Ivester rounding out the top five.

Jeremy Jones edged out Bradlee Jones for the win in the Stock V8 feature, with Tracy Addison in third, Ricky Chamberlin in fourth and Seth Brown in fifth.

Kevin Kelly took the victory in the Stock 4 feature. Jacob Rhome came home in second, with Pete Whitley in third, Dustin Bales in fourth and Scott Arrowood in fifth.

Hoyt Partain held off Aiden Fortson to take the Young Guns feature win, with Thomas Shaw in third, Noah Anglin in fourth and Mason Kinsey in fifth.

Alex Powell was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Randy Shaw followed in second, with Dillion Christian in third, Stacy Foster in fourth and Joel Powell, Jr. in fifth.
