Chris Woods Drives To Hartwell Speedway Hobby Victory

Chris Woods made his way to victory lane at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway on Saturday night.

Woods, from Statham, Georgia, powered to the lead of the Hobby feature and went on to take the win at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

David McCoy finished in second, with Nick Sellers in third, Clay Thompson in fourth and Ricky Smith in fifth.

In other action, Blake Craft held off Jimmy Johnson for the win in the Limited Late Model feature. David McCoy, finished third, with Larry Timms fourth and Steven Segars fifth.

Daniel Doster was the winner in the Modified Street feature. Ty Nalley followed in second, with Smokey Roberts in third, Johnny Pilgrim in fourth and Jennifer Everett in fifth.

Rocky Jones scored the victory in the Stock V8 feature, with Evan Brown, Daryl Mathison, Seth Brown and Ricky Chamberlain rounding out the top five.

Keith Baker topped the Open Wheel Modified field for the feature win. Drew Griffin followed in second, with Stanley Hill in third, David Dove in fourth and Ricky Bryant in fifth.

Kenny Dobbs took top honors in the Stock 4 feature, with Elliott Brayboy second, Matt Maxwell third, Justin Taylor fourth and Mark Parker, Jr. fifth.

Hoyt Partain recorded the victory in the Young Guns feature. Thomas Shaw finished in second, with Mason Kinsley in third, Brandon Jones in fourth and Jacobi Marler in fifth.

Bradley Tillman was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Dillion Christian in second, Randy Shaw in third, Alex Powell in fourth and Timothy Jones in fifth.
