Kenny Collins closed out the 2019 race season at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway with a visit to victory lane on Champion’s Night.
Collins, from Colbert, Georgia, started the night by setting fast time in Limited Late Model qualifying around the 3/8-mile clay raceway.
After enduring a brief rain delay, Collins got out to the early lead and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire en route to his 150th career win.
David McCoy followed in second, with Justin Sims in third, Division Champion Grant Jordan in fourth and Will Harris in fifth.
In other action, Adam Partain added to his substantial 2019 win total at Hartwell Speedway by taking the Crate Late Model victory. Division Champion Danny Sanders finished in second, with Shane Yarbrough in third, Lance Chitwood in fourth and Brandon Roberts in fifth.
Crandall Turner held off a hard charge from Cody Segars to take the win in the Hobby feature. Chris Woods followed in third, with Joseph “Booman” Galloway in fourth and Division Champion Shane Yarbrough in fifth.
Chad Puckett outdueled Tye Nalley for the Modified Street feature victory. Johnny Pilgrim finished third, with Jennifer Everett in fourth and Division Champion Smokey Roberts in fifth.
Body Hunt scored the Stock V8 feature win by holding off Stephen House to the checkered flag. Rocky Jones finished third, with Seth Brown in fourth and Tyler Kennedy in fifth. Division Champion Evan Brown was not in attendance.
Nick McCall was the winner in the Stock 4 feature. Derrick Lord, Bobby Shelton, Mike Little and Pete Whitley rounded out the top five. Division Champion Dustin Bales came home in eighth.
Hoyt Partain ran away from the field en route to the Young Guns feature win. Division Champion Tanner Nation finished second, followed by Aiden Fortson in third, Lane Fortson in fourth and Alyssa Goldsmith in fifth.
Joel Powell, Sr. held off a late challenge from Division Champion Alex Powell to win the Front Wheel Drive feature. Dillon Christian finished in third, with Danny Tollison in fourth and Kenneth Taylor in fifth.
While the Open Wheel Modified Division did not complete on Saturday night, Dwayne McCannon was honored as the Division Champion.
