Michael Page has made it a habit this year of winning at Dixie Speedway.
Page led wire-to-wire en route to the Super Late Model feature win Saturday night at the historic Woodstock, Georgia raceway.
It marks the fifth feature victory of the season on the 3/8-mile clay speedway for the Douglasville, Georgia native.
Page started the night by winning the pole and jumped to the early lead. He came under pressure over the closing laps, as both Dalton Cook and Austin Horton closed on him. Cook slipped high near the end, allowing Horton to slip by and chase Page down.
With two laps to go, Horton was able to pull up to Page’s door. But when Horton pushed a little high with two, that gave Page enough distance to pull off the win. Horton would follow in second, with Cook third, Jason Hiett in fourth and Derek Ellis in fifth.
In the make up Super Late Model Championship race for August 24 rain out, Jason Hiett led the way to score the win ahead of Dalton Polston, Tyler Millwood, Jason Croft, and Eric Granger.
There were two races in the Steelhead Late Models due to last weeks rain out that would see two different winners. Scottie Pritchett grabbed his first win of the season as he held off challenges from Drew Benefield and Oliver Gentry for the regular Steelhead feature. Gentry would make his way around Benefield for second with Bob Johnson fourth and Jay Motes fifth.
In the make up Steelhead Championship race, Oliver Gentry took the win, leaving Dale Thurman a distant second and under pressure from Randall Powell, who came home third. Logan Walston finished fourth, followed by Bob Johnson in fifth.
After 11 and a break from the sport, David Eubanks took his first win since 2008 in the Crate Late Model feature, as he handily outran John Harrison for the victory. Devin Stuart finished third, with Andy Morris fourth and Zach Pilcher fifth.
Jonathan Martin made a repeat performance from last week, as he led every lap of the 602 Sportsman feature for the win ahead of Jackie Waites in second, Wesley Scott in third, Chris Sizemore in fourth and Chris Hough in fifth.
Travis Smith finally broke into Victory Lane in the Economy Bomber feature, as he bested Dan Meadows for the victory. Dylan Armstrong, Daniel Floyd and Billy Dean rounded out the top five.
Kenny Clark doubled up by sweeping both the regular Stinger Division feature and the rained out Championship race from last week.
In the regular feature, Clark made his way to Victory Lane ahead of Jason Young in second, Jeffrey Woodall in third, Daniel Turner in fourth, and Nathan Peardon in fifth.
Clark held off an almost completely different crowd in the Championship feature as he took the checkered flag ahead of Jason Young, Rick Ricks, Jonathan Nelson, and Robert Brannon.
