Michael Page has had a virtual lock on victory lane in Super Late Model competition at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia this year.

The Douglasville, Georgia native recorded his fourth win of the season in his fifth start at the 3/8-mile clay speedway. His only loss was a second place finish earlier this season.

Page started on the pole for the 40 lap feature, taking the lead at the start and never relinquishing it. Austin Horton was able to make up distance in the latter stages of the race, but fell a couple of car lengths short at the checkered flag to finish in second. Austin Smith came home in third, with T.J. Reaid in fourth and Casey Roberts in fifth.

In other action, after a two week absence, Dalton Polston picked up where he left off by winning the Steelhead/525 feature by a full straightaway advantage. Randall Powell crossed the line in second, while Ahnna Parkhurst and Dale Thurman finished side-by-side with Parkhurst edging out Thurman for third. Jimmy Johnson made a rare appearance at the speedway, finishing in fifth.

The Crate Late Models put on a show, with Luther Jenkins and Logan Palmer racing side-by-side for most of the race while Colby Kilgore ran a close third. Jenkins would go on to take his first win in three years ahead of Palmer and Kilgore. Jake Pilgrim and David Eubanks rounded out the top five.

It looked like Nick Mays’ night in the 602 Sportsman class until he was caught up in a tangle with two lapped cars. That handed the lead to Daniel Brewer, who led the rest of the way en route to the victory. Chris Hough came home in second, with Jonathan Martin in third, Chris Sizemore in fourth and Jesse Goss in fifth.

Dan Meadows took the victory in the Economy Bomber feature ahead of Justin Begley in second, Eric Hamby in third, Dylan Armstrong in fourth and Randy Smith in fifth.

Rick Ricks was the Street Stingers feature winner, with Jason Young second, James Drummond third, Robert Brannen fourth and Michael Follmer fifth.

Dixie Speedway returns to action on Saturday, July 13. For more info, visit DixieSpeedway.com.
