Michael Page led flag-to-flag to score the win in Saturday night’s Bill Ingram Memorial Super Late Model feature at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
Frank Ingram, son of the late Georgia Racing Hall of Famer Bill Ingram, started the night by qualifying on the pole for the feature. On the drop of the green flag, Page jumped out to the early lead, with Ingram giving chase. Ingram’s night came to a premature end, however, when the rear end on his car broke, sidelining him for the night.
Back under green, Tyler Millwood moved to second. Page set a quick pace while Millwood had his hands full trying to hold off Johnny Chastain. The two drivers would swap the second spot several times before Millwood took the spot.
Up front, Page drove away to score the win, with Millwood in second, Chastain in third, Derek Ellis in fourth and Tom Maddox in fifth.
In other action, Chris Fennell took the Steel Head Late Model feature victory ahead of Austin Smith. Matt Larson followed in third, with Scott Hall in fourth and Jason Smith in fifth.
Matt Black returned to victory lane for his second career win in the Crate Late Model feature, as he led the way ahead of Pole Sitter Jake Jones in second, Logan Palmer in third, Jason Morris in fourth and Jimmy Price in fifth.
Saturday was Championship Night in the Super Bomber division. Alan Brewer took the lead off the start and went wire-to-wire for the win as the rest of the field battled behind him. Petey Cochran and Cass Fowler staged a battle for the number two spot until the halfway point when the two got together as Fowler made the attempt to pass. Both drivers were forced to lift off the gas to keep from spinning, allowing Richard Goode to take advantage and pass for the second spot.
At the Checkered flag, Brewer crossed the line first followed by Goode in second, Fowler in third, Daniel Brewer in fourth and Drew Larson in fifth.
Eric Hamby took the win the Economy Bomber feature after leader Dan Meadows suffered mechanical problems that sidelined him from the top spot. Landon Bagby, Dalton Polston, James Gagnon and Taylor Cole rounded out the top five.
Byron Sisson raced his way to the win in the Street Stinger feature holding off Shane Gooden for the win. Brian Cosier finished third, with Sam Plyler fourth and Randy Ledford fifth.
