Kenny Collins Scores S.E. Late Model Victory At Lavonia

Kenny Collins held of a stout field of Late Models in a rare Sunday race at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA, to pick up the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman feature and a $1,500 payday.

Billy Rushton finished in second, with Bubba Russell in third, Wesley English in fourth and Ricky Lacount in fifth.

Danny Ledford, Jimmy Ivester, Shun Thomas, JR Headen and Randy Edmonds rounded out the top ten.

In other action, David McCoy held off Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance to add another FASTRAK Pro Late Model victory to his win total this year. Colby Cannon finished in third, with Adam Smith in fourth and Josh Thurmond in fifth.

Scott Kennedy took the victory in the Hobby 602 feature, with James Nash finishing in second. Kenny Peoples crossed the line in third, with Mitchell Godfrey in fourth and Mark Parham in fifth.

Joey Graham was the winner in the Modified Street feature. Justin Sims finished in second, with Nick Kennedy in third, Jason Lewallen in fourth and Shannon Defor in fifth.

Keith Teasley topped the Stock 8 field to bring home the feature victory. Keith Ross finished in second, with Rocky Jones third, Ray Foskey fourth and Wayne Chapman in fifth.

J.J. Garrett won the Stock 4 feature, with Kenny Dobbs, Brandon Elliott, Mason Tucker and Bradley Lambert in fifth.

In the Rookie 4 feature, Nathan Bowen took the victory, with Paris Simmons in second, Cody Bock third, Brandon Brock fourth and Grant Roberts fifth.

Daniel Reynolds was the winner in the Front Wheel Driver feature, beating Jackie Holden to the finish line. Travis Barbare finished in third, with Scott Hendrix in fourth and Joe Powell in fifth.
