Spencer Davis will make his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut for NTS Motorsports while driving the No. 20 Ruud Chevrolet at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH on Friday, July 17.
Kicking off a limited schedule with the Kernersville NC based NTS Motorsports, the 16-year-old is expected to compete behind the wheel of the Ruud Chevrolet in select NKNPSE races throughout the 2015 season.
“I’m looking forward to making my K&N Pro Series East debut in the No. 20 Ruud Chevrolet,” Davis said. “Ruud has been a longtime supporter of mine, and I’m excited to represent their brand as I move to the next level in my career. I’m really happy that we’ll be driving for such a well-structured, competitive team like NTS Motorsports, and I’m even more excited to be going to ‘The Magic Mile’ at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It’s cool to know that I’ll make my first K&N start on a one-mile track.”
A native of Dawsonville, GA, Davis first climbed behind the wheel of a racecar when he was just six years old. After winning 30 championships and hundreds of races in go-kart competition across the country, he moved to late model trucks, and ultimately to pro late model and super late model cars.
