LaMance Takes FASTRAK PLM Win At Lavonia Speedway

As of late, Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance has laid claim to victory lane at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA.

Friday night, the veteran dirt Late Model campaigner added yet another trophy to his mantle, as he beat out Frankie Beard to score his third FASTRAK Pro Late Model victory of the season at the 3/8 mile clay raceway.

David McCoy finished in third, with Adam Smith in fourth and Mintz Fenelos in fifth.

In other action, David McCoy topped the Limited Late Model field to score the feature victory. Clayton Turner came home in second, with Kenny Collins in third, Eric Johnson in fourth and Bubba Russell in fifth.

Shane Yarbrough was the winner in the Hobby 602 feature, with Rusty King in second, Chris McKeehan third, Ty Anglin fourth and Dwayne Blair fifth.

Kenny Dobbs was first to the checkered flag for the Stock 4 victory. Kevin Kelly finished second, with Brandon Long in third.

Matthew Furgeson won in the Rookie 4 feature, while Michael Segars was the winner in the Modified Street race.

In Stock 8 action, Keith Teasly beat out Cal Moon for the win, while Jackie Holden held off Daniel Reynolds for the Front Wheel Drive victory.

Lavonia Speedway will host a rare Sunday afternoon card on May 24, with the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series topping the card, along with action from the FASTRAK Pro Late Models, Hobby, Modified Street, Stock 4, Stock 8, Rookie 4 and Front Wheel Drive divisions.
