Bubba Russell charged his way to the front of the field, and held off David McCoy to score the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series victory Saturday night at Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, GA.
Russell was able to outdistance the field around the historic 5/16 clay track as he drove to the feature win. McCoy held on for second, with Drew Collins in third, Billy Rushton in fourth and Wesley English in fifth.
Brent Russell, Frank Cotes, David Connelly, JR Headen and Clayton Turner rounded out the top ten finishers.
In other action, Adam Smith held off David McCoy for the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature victory. Rusty Jordan finished in third, with Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance in fourth and Drew Cole in fifth.
In the Hobby/602 feature, Brandon Stroud was first across the finish line for the win. James Nash was second, with Nick Sellers in third, Tracy Addison in fourth and Cody Smith in fifth.
Mark Wilbanks topped the field for the Modified Street feature victory, with Billy Buffington in second, Keith Baker in third, Robbie Campbell in fourth and Casey Wilson in fifth.
Kevin Kelly was the winner in the Stock 4 Cylinder feature. Harley Holden, J.J. Garrett, Terry Calhoun and Curtis Cabe rounded out the top five.
Jackie Holden took top honors in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Lucas Crowe finished second, with Lisa Calhoun in third, Daniel Reynolds in fourth and Robbie Cook in fifth.
Jessica Still won in the Rookie 4 Cylinder race. Matthew Furgerson was second, with Nathan Bowen in third.
