TAMPA, FL – Sport Allen passed three cars in the outside lane with just four laps left to go to score the win in the Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints 25-lap feature Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL.
A.J. Maddox crossed the line in second, with Matt Kurtz in third. Mark Ruel, Jr. finished fourth and Brent O’Donnell came home in fifth.
In the Limited Late Model feature, Shan Smith took over the lead with just four laps remaining and went on to win after a five year drought. Forrest Gough ran second, with Paul Gibbs third, Dale Pope in fourth and Billy Howard, Jr. in fifth.
Nicholas Schneider picked up his very first V8 Warriors win, leading a caution free feature. Jason Burnside, Jimmy Baker, Mike Wilson and Jeremy Simpson rounded out the top five.
Bryan Bernhardt battled with Travis Varnadore in the last corner with Bernhardt crossing the line first for the Late Models feature victory. Varnadore finished in second, with Dave Schmauss, third, Mavrick Varnadore fourth and Jimmy Waldrop in fifth.
David Barwick led all 15 laps to win his second Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stock feature of the year. Jeff Rodgers, finished second, with Ronnie Heard third, Thomas Burnside fourth and Buck Woodhouse fifth.
