TAMPA, FL – Josh Peacock took the lead on lap four of Saturday night’s Donnie Tanner Memorial Late Model feature, as he powered away to score the victory in the 50 lap event at East Bay Raceway Park at Tampa, FL.
It marked Peacock’s first victory in the Donnie Tanner Memorial.
Kyle Bronson finished second, with David Pollen, Jr. in third, Phillip Cobb fourth and Travis Varnadore in fifth.
Jeff Mathews, Scott Lagasse, Jr., Megan Meyer, Adam Boyd and Jack Nosbisch, Jr. rounded out the top ten.
In other action, Forrest Gough picking up his ninth Limited Late Model feature win of the year by a half a car length over hard charging Shan Smith with Dale Pope finishing third. Jeremy Simpson ran fourth, with Jason Russell in fifth.
In the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers feature, Patrick Fiore, Sr. won his six feature of the year over Jeff Lacey and James Paes. Bailey Purcell finished fourth and George Handy came home in fifth.
Buck Woodhouse won his seventh Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks feature of the year after starting dead last. He took over the lead on lap ten, and beat Ronnie Whitley to the checkered flag. David Barwick, II ran third, with Billy Barstow fourth and Garry Sheffield fifth.
