LAVONIA, GA – Brant Carey did something Friday night that few drivers this season can claim. He beat David McCoy for the Limited Late Model victory at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA.
McCoy came home in second, with Jimmy Ivester in third, Randy Nichols in fourth and Mike Ashley in fifth.
Danny Ledford, Kyre Mullaney, Gus Simpson, Clayton Turner and Eric Johnson rounded out the top 10.
In other action, Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance added another FASTRAK Pro Late Model trophy to his well stocked trophy shelf, as he held off Kyre Mullaney for the win. Adam Smith finished in third, with David McCoy in fourth and Jimmy Ivester in fifth.
Clifton Snow made the trip to Victory Lane with a win in the Modified Street feature. Rusty Jordan finished in second, with Michael Segars third, Billy Buffington fourth and Daniel Snow in fifth.
Daniel Fowler took home top honors in the Hobby Stock feature, holding off Mike Davison for the win. Ervin Atkinson finished in third, with Alex Yarborough fourth and Matt Duke in fifth.
Brandon Stroud held off Kevin Kelly for the Stock 4 victory. Henry Vaughn, Bobby Boshears and Mitchell Godfrey rounded out the top five.
Jeremy Hicks scored the win in the Rookie 4 feature. Brandon Elliott finished in second, with Matthew Ferguson in third, Joseph “Boo Man” Galloway in fourth and Anthony White in fifth.
T.J. Watts beat out Jackie Holden for the Front Wheel Drive feature win. Jake Abernathy finished in third, with Robbie Cook in fourth and Daniel Reynolds in fifth.
