LAVONIA, GA – It’s become a common sight at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA – David McCoy parked in victory lane.
That’s right where he parked Friday night – twice, in fact – as he scored wins in both the Limited Late Model and FASTRAK Pro Late Model features.
In the Limited Late Model race, McCoy edged out Bubba Russell for the win, with Mike Ashely coming home in third, Gus Simpson in fourth and Tim Elrod in fifth.
In the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature, McCoy out distanced Kyre Mullaney for the victory. Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance crossed the finish line in third, with Drew Cole in fourth and Kenny Collins in fifth.
In other action, Kenny Dobbs scored the win in the Stock 4 feature. Kevin Kelly finished in second, with Holten Bradshaw in third, Todd Stevenson in fourth and Jamie Massey in fifth.
Adam Partain picked up the win in the Rookie 4 feature, with Jeremy Hix in second, Taylor Stewart in third, Allen Cantrell in fourth and Whitney Sanders in fifth.
Rusty Jordan came away with the Modified Street feature win, with Mark Wilbanks, John Teasley, Steven Segars, and Daniel Snow rounding out the top five.
In the Hobby Stock feature, George Reece scored the win, with Mike Davison in second, James Simpson in third, Robin Collins in fourth and Alex Yarbrough in fifth.
Robbie Cook scored the Front Wheel Drive feature victory.
