Mason Tucker made some moves off the track during the off season that landed him in victory lane at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA Saturday night.

The 16-year-old sophomore moved up to the Stock Four Cylinder class from the Young Guns division during the winter months, and that move paid off, as he held off 14 other competitors to score the feature win on the Hartwell dirt Saturday.

Daniel Doster finished in second, with Ashley Poole in third, J.J. Garrett in fourth and Shannon Duck in fifth.

In other action, it was another 16-year-old, Adam Partain, who continued to dominate the Young Guns division. Partain remains undefeated in the division so far in the young season, as he scored the feature victory. Payton Freeman finished in second, followed by Jonathan Cheeseman in third, Jessica Still in fourth and Mallarie Burdette in fifth.

Brandon “Cornbread” Haley made another trip to victory lane in the Limited Late Model feature, again beating out David McCoy for the win. Kenny Collins finished third, followed by Keith Freeman in fourth and Bubba Russell in fifth.

After finishing second in the Limited Late Model feature, McCoy was able to score the victory in the SECA Late Model feature. He beat out Grand Jordan for the win, with Colby Cannon finishing in third place, followed by Chris Cape in fourth and Bryce Alewine in fifth.

Greg Scoggins picked up the win in the Modified Street feature. Kole Hardy, Michael Segars, Chris Jones and Brian Hardman rounded out the top five.

In Stock V8 action, Terry Brown topped the field to score the win. Otis Fleeman finished in second, followed by Ray Foskey in third, Chris Steadman in fourth and Holly Bales in fifth.
