David McCoy’s car in victory lane has become an almost expected site at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA.
McCoy did it again on Saturday, as he again swept both the Limited Late Model and FASTRAK Late Model features at the north Georgia 3/8 mile.
McCoy beat out Brandon “Cornbread” Haley for the Limited Late Model victory. Bubba Russell ran third, with Parker Herring in fourth, and Darren Hill in fifth.
In the FASTRAK Late Model feature, McCoy beat out South Carolina’s Kyre Mullaney for the win. Frankie Beard came across the finish line in third, followed by Grant Jordan in fourth, and Brandon Haley in fifth.
In other action, the Modified Street feature saw Chris Cape score the victory, with Chris Jones coming across in second. Clifton Snow finished in third, with Michael Segars in fourth, and Jeremy Jones in fifth.
Keith Teasley topped the field for the win in the Stock V8 feature. Jessie Thurmond came home in second, with Cal Moon in third, Ricky Chamberlain in fourth, and Hunter Leonard in fifth.
Mitchell Godfrey picked up the win in the Stock Four Cylinder feature. Dale Cross, Kevin Kelly, Chris Wilson and Brent Couch rounded out the top five.
Mason Tucker came home with the win in the Young Guns feature, with Jeremy Hicks in second, Adam Partain in third, Jessica Still in fourth, and Travis Hubbard in fifth.
Joey Kelly was the winner in the Up Front feature. Wayne Chapman came home in second, with Steven Powell in third, Trey Chapman in fourth, and Michael Mosley in fifth.
