Temperatures may be on the rise, but that didn’t prevent the “Snowman” from making an appearance in victory lane at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA, Friday night during the Modified Street Championship race.

Clifton “Snowman” Snow dominated the Modified Street division feature. Even though Snow lead all 20 laps it wasn’t without some major challenges from both Rusty Jordan and Chris Cape, who spent a majority of the 20 laps locked in a side by side battle of their own for second. There were a few times Jordan gained the momentum to challenge Snow for the lead, but Snow held a steady line throughout and crossed the finish line a car length ahead of Jordan. Cape finished in third, with John Teasley in fourth and Brant Carey in fifth.

In other action, David McCoy picked up the victory in the Limited Late Model feature. Clayton Turner came home in second, with Bruce Taylor in third, Gus Simpson in fourth, and Keith Freeman in fifth.

McCoy also scored the win in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature. Nathan Bray came across the finish line in second, with Frankie Beard in third, Hot Rod LaMance in fourth, and Grant Jordan in fifth.

Otis Fleeman raced to the victory in the Stock 8 feature. Danny Murray came home in second, with Josh Bates in third.

In the Stock 4 feature, Shane Strickland beat out Cody Byrum for the win. Ryan Boles, Randy Edmonds, and Zack Sanders rounded out the top five.

Payton Freeman came away with the win in the Beginner 4 feature. Jeremy Hicks finished in second, with Daniel Reynolds in third, and Whitney Sanders in fifth.

J.B. Moser crossed under the checkered flag first for the Front Wheel Drive feature win. T.J. Watts finished second, with Michael Anthony in third, and Aaron Limbaugh in fourth.
