Matt Dooley Doubles Up With Ltd. Late Model Win At Rome

Matt Dooley was tough to beat last week.

One night after scoring a win at Dixie Speedway, Dooley traveled north to Rome Speedway in Rome, GA, and beat out a large, strong field of competitors to claim his second Limited Late Model victory in as many days.

Dooley beat out Rucker Orr for the win. Johnny Cloer, Jr. finished third, with Scottie Pritchett in fourth, and Vernon Smith in fifth.

In other action, Kenny Taylor topped the field in the Super Bomber feature to score the win. Ted Minnix finished second, with Roy Patterson in third, Willie Winsome in fourth, and Tony McDowell in fifth.

In Econo Bomber action, it was Justin Shipley picking up the victory, followed by Kenneth Burns, Chris Blalock, Gooch Spriggs, and Carl Richards.

Brian Dempsey came home with the Cruiser division win.
