Tony Knowles Scores Fourth Dixie SLM Victory Of 2012

Tony Knowles took his fourth Super Late Model win of the season Saturday night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA, when he passed Tyler Millwood for the lead on lap 15.  Millwood gave chase but came up short at the checkers having to settle for second.

A battle was held for the third through fifth spot between several drivers before Ronnie Johnson took charge of the third spot for the remainder of the feature. Ivedent Lloyd made his way from Florida to Dixie and brought his ride home in fourth while Frank Ingram made a last lap pass on Dale Thurman to take fifth.

In other action, Cass Fowler went flag to flag in the Limited Late Model feature for the win as Jake Herrell followed in second. Scottie Pritchett drove home in third with Zack Pilcher and Alan Brewer completing the top five.

The Crate Late Model feature would see Phil Coltrane take the lead and never look back to take his fourth win of the season. Hunter Jones held off Craig Reece for second as Chuck Page and Tracy Pearson followed in fourth and fifth.

Kirk Atkins took the win in the Super Bomber Feature for the sixth time of the year out running Kenny Taylor, Roy Patterson, Ted Minnix, and Daniel Brewer.

J.J. Garrett made his way to victory lane in the Pony Stock race. Changing positions several times throughout the race, Jeremy Ray took second leaving Jamie Cross, Jeremy Millsaps, and Terry Baxter to complete the top five.

Joe Trantham took the Cruiser win, while JH Ingram outlasted all other entries in the Demolition Derby.
