Chris Harvell had to fight off the field to score the Front Wheel Drive victory Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC.
Steve Beacham took the lead as soon as the green flag dropped on the race but his time at the front was short-lived. On lap two Harvell battled up beside Beacham and the two crossed the finish line virtually even. On lap three Harvell took over the lead which he held the remainder of the laps on his way to his first victory since Aprils Fool Day. BJ Davis finished second. Steve Beacham finished third. CJ Huitt finished fourth. Danny Heil finished fifth.
In other action, Casey Tucker claimed the victory in the B-M Modified division. Tucker led every lap of the race on his way to the victory. Mark Burdette finished second. Austin Northcutt finished third. Alan Mitchell finished fourth. Jeff Thompson finished fifth.
Steve Guthrie scored the win in the Renegade race. Guthrie and Ricky Burnett battled side by side the first five laps of the race. On lap six Burnett dropped in behind Guthrie and then on lap eight Burnett passed Guthrie to take over the lead. On lap nine Guthrie spun in turn two and had to go to the rear. Burnett led the remainder of the race and received the checkered flag while Guthrie drove his heart out and managed to move his way back to the second position. Following the race Burnett failed post race inspection and the official victory was awarded to Guthrie. Chad Watt finished second. Brian Davis finished third. Jack Robertson finished fourth. Tim Butler finished fifth.
David Darnell scored the win in the B-Mini Stock feature. Chuck Mitchell grabbed the lead at the start of the race and appeared to have the muscle to pick up his first victory of the season. But misfortune decided differently for Mitchell when his car slowed on lap 13 and David Darnell drove by him to take the lead. Darnell led the final seven laps and took the victory. Chad Campbell finished second, with Dylan Hall third, Shane Hall fourth, and Ryan Howard fifth.

Josh Brimecombe claimed the official victory in the Semi Pro/ Young Lions portion of the Legends regional qualifier. Several drivers held the lead in the race before the victory was decided by mere inches at the finish of the race. Justin Bolton, Jared Irvan, Justin Thomas, and Ryan Shattuck led during the first twenty nine laps of the race with Brimecombe leading by a nose over Padgett at the finish of the race.
On the final lap Shattuck and Thomas made contact in turn four and the cars began to spin which caused several drivers to scatter and for Brimecombe to out drag Padgett to the finish line. Initially Padgett was declared the winner but after a review of the track video it was determined that Brimecombe had crossed the line first. Joey Padgett finished second and took the victory in the Young Lions portion of the race. Jared Irvan finished third. Cory Parham finished fourth. Rex Brown finished fifth.
Evan Swilling claimed the win in the Pro/Masters portion of the Legends regional qualifier race. Swilling and Taylor Hull swapped the lead during the race numerous times before Swilling nailed down the lead for good on lap 26. Swilling was finally able to pull to a car length advantage which he held the remainder of the race. Taylor Hull finished second. Phillip Young finished third and took the victory in the Masters portion of the race. Scott Whitaker finished fourth. Larry Friddle finished fifth.
