With several local tracks beginning to wind their season down, and both NASCAR and the NHRA seeing their points battles shape up, there’s a lot to watch in several forms of racing this weekend. Here’s a look at some of the action on tap, beginning today.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series enters week two of the Chase for the Cup, as the tour travels to New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire for the Sylvania 300 on Sunday. Joining the NSCS will be the Camping World Truck Series, who will compete at Loudon on Saturday in the F.W. Webb 175. Also competing at Loudon this weekend in the K&N Pro East Series, who will run the New Hampshire 125 on Friday, and the Whelen Modified Tour, who will run in the New Hampshire 100 on Saturday.
