Herring Scores FASTRAK Feature Win At Hartwell

Parker Herring topped a strong field of Late Model contenders Saturday night at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, Georgia to take home the win in the FASTRAK Late Model feature.

Frankie Beard trailed Herring at the finish, coming home with a second place effort.  Danny Sanders finished third, followed by Kyre Mullaney and Scott Holmes.

In other action, “Hot Rod” LaMance scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature.  David McCoy ran second, with Parker Herring third, Brant Carey fourth and Melvin English fifth.

In the Modified Street feature, Rusty Jordan came away with the win, besting Paul Byrum, Joe Nash, Ben Norris and Mark Parham at the finish.

Matthew Denton won the Stock V8 feature.  Michael Segars was second, with Dustin Evans third, Joseph Teasley fourth and Colby Thornton fifth.

Adam Smith picked up the win in the Stock Four feature, with Ashley Poole second and Jeffery Lord third.

Daniel Ivester scored the win in the Young Guns feature.  Joni Church ran second, followed by Bryce Alewine and Mitchell Ledford.

In the Up Front feature, T.J. Watts scored the win.  Mike Staton, Randy Shaw, Keith Hicks and Hermon Isom rounded out the top five.

Judy Brown won the Powder Puff feature, followed by Candace Goldsmith and Donna Mercer.

Action returns to Hartwell Speedway this Saturday, Sept. 24, with action in the Limited Late Model, FASTRAK Late Model, Modified Street, Stock V8, Stock Four, Young Guns, and Up Front divisions. For more information, visit www.hartwell-speedway.com.
