Talladega Short Track - Eastaboga, Alabama
Terry Smith picked up the Super Late Model feature event win in the “Jerry Goodwin Challenge” feature on Saturday Night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. The win was worth $2,200.
Jason Hiett finished in the second spot with Jason Wilson third. Tim Roszell finished fourth with Chris Jones rounding out the top five.
Dustin Stewart won the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event over Adam Cummings in second and Joe Noojin in third. Logan Yates finished fourth, with Jonathan Chapman fifth.
Jimmy Elkins picked up the NeSmith Crate Late Model feature event win over Brian Ponder who finished second. Carlton Freeman finished third, Ryan King was fourth and Adam Gauldin finished fifth.
Michael Strickland won the race-shortened Open Wheel Modified feature event. Eddie Brannon finished second, with Clark Gary, Kevin Waddell and David Conner rounding out the top five.
Chris Yarbrough won in ThunderCar action with Sam Hughes in second. Bobby Joe Robinson ran third, with Zach Shelton fourth and Adam Magouirk fifth.
Andy Davis won the Street Stock feature. Russell Chapman finished second, followed by Phillip Haynes, Chris Howell and Haley Pitts.
Byron Madison scored the win in the Hot Shots feature. Taylor Gowers, Dustin Mullinax, Quinton Wooten and Alvin Gaddy rounded out the top five.
Talladega Short Track is back in action this Saturday Night, September 3, featuring a full racing program in all divisions. It’s also Kids Night with kids bike races and Merchants Night with Door Prizes to be given out. For more information visit www.talladegashorttrack.com.
