Prior to Friday night, Ben Kay had not visited victory lane at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC in 2012.

He changed that Friday, as he scored the victory in the B Mini-Stock feature at the 3/8 mile raceway after the lead three failed post-race tech.

Billy Hockman jumped out to the lead on the start over pole sitter David Darnell.  B.J. Thrasher was on the charge, and swept into the top spot on lap two, with Chuck Mitchell giving chase.  As the two battled, Darnell was able to make the move around the leaders to claim the top spot.  He would hold the position until the drop of the checkered flag.

However, post race tech changed the entire look of the final rundown, as Darnell, Thrasher, and Mitchell failed inspection.  That moved Kay to the win, with Zac Dillon second, Chad Campbell third, Billy Hockman fourth, and Victory McIntyre fifth.

In other action, Austin Northcutt claimed the win in the B-M Modified feature. Northcutt took the lead early, with Mark Burdette giving chase.   Burdette would have to settle for second.  Alan Mitchell finished third. Shon Gibson finished fourth.  Casey Tucker finished fifth.

Avery Burgess topped the field in the C Mini-Stock feature.  Dillon Hall jumped out front to lead first lap. Meanwhile Burgess pressured Dillon for the spot, but could not find daylight. On lap 13, Burgess finally moved side by side with Dillon, coming away with the lead.  He would stay there to the end, scoring the victory.  Zack Dillon finished second, with Dion Ciccarelli in third, Ryan Howard, fourth, and Jim Skinner fifth.
