With just a handful of race dates left on the schedule, Mother Nature washed out plans for some tracks and series over the weekend.

Georgia’s Senoia Raceway was slated to have local divisions compete on Saturday night, only to see wet weather lead race officials to cancel those plans. Racing is scheduled to return to Senoia on Saturday, September 30 for the final points paying race of the season. For more information, visit SenoiaRaceway1969.com.

It was a similar situation at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, where rainy weather won out, washing out the planned Roger Cooper Memorial at the ¼-mile clay oval. WBS is next slated to host the annual “Pause For The Cause” race night on Saturday, September 23. Check WinderBarrowSpeedway.com for details.

The SMART Modified Tour was supposed to do battle at Lonesome Pine Speedway in Coeburn, Virginia only for the threatening weather to lead officials to cancel the event. The tour is next scheduled to travel to Motor Mile Speedway in Fairlawn, Virginia on Sunday, October 1. Visit SMARTModTour.com for updates.
