After Saturday night’s Hobby 602 feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, Chris Woods parked in a familiar spot – victory lane.
The Statham, Georgia wheelman held off James Cason to score the win, adding to his already impressive 2023 win totals at the ¼-mile clay raceway.
Cade Cagle followed in third, with Clay Fancher in fourth, and Randy Jackson in fifth.
In other action, Logan Stinchcomb added another WBS winner’s trophy to his shelf for the 2023 season with a win in the Limited Late Model feature. Dink McKeehan followed him under the checkered flag to finish in second, with Gus Simpson in third, Chris Woods in fourth, and Alex Yarbrough in fifth.
John Anderson took home top honors in the Modified Street feature, with B.J. Franklin second, Tyler Canup third, Nick Frady fourth, and Daniel Bray fifth.
Mark Chancey scored the win in the Stock 8 feature. Scotty Cox, Trip Sexton, Keith Guy, and Chase Chancey rounded out the top five.
Derek Lord was the winner in the Stock 4A feature, with Allen Cantrell in second, followed by Cody Albright in third, Nick Fulcher in fourth, and Pete Whitley in fifth.
Adam Jones crossed the finish lien ahead of Myki Rico to take the victory in the Stock 4B feature. Mason Peppers finished third, with Gerald Silvious fourth.
Wayne Chapman recorded the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with William Earnest in second, Jake McBride in third, and Kelly Cox in fourth.
