Ledbetter Tops GXS Street Stocks For Anderson Victory

Gary Ledbetter remains perfect in GXS Street Stock Series competition at Anderson Motor Speedway.

Ledbetter, from Lexington, North Carolina, scored the victory as the series made its second appearance of the season at the Williamston, South Carolina speedplant.

After starting from the second position, Ledbetter went on to outdistance Devin Kelley to take his second straight victory on the 3/8-mile asphalt raceway.

Maxx Porter followed in third, with Davey Smart in fourth, and John Guker in fifth.

Jeff Morse, Rick Kelley, Michael Cooper, David Rader, and Tyler Woodring rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Justin Sorrow recorded the victory in the Limited Late Model feature, beating out John Gallman and Magnum Tate for the win. Kenneth Headen followed in fourth, with Jock White in fifth.

Ryan Howard topped the Mini Stock field to score the win, with Chad Campbell second, Jeff Turner third, Ben Burnett fourth, and Tim Greer fifth.

Mitchell Thompson continued his dominance in the US Legends division, adding his fourth feature win of the season to the record books. Zack Alexander finished in second, followed by Timmy Graham in third, Scott Wessel in fourth, and Brandon Johnson in fifth.

Chandler Gallman was first across the finish line to take the win in the Pure Stocks feature. Chris Lawson, Kyler Moser, Michael Haney, and Dereck Burgess rounded out the top five.

Jordan Kane edged out McKenzie Barbare for the Young Guns victory, with Halee Whitfield in third, Katelynn Moon in fourth, and Jaylen Norris in fifth.
