Josh Putnam led the final 14 laps en route to the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee.
It marked the third career series victory for the Florence, Alabama driver, and his second at the 1/3-mile high banked oval.
Sam Seawright jumped out to the early lead, with Josh Putnam in pursuit. Putnam would take the lead on lap 15, but Seawright countered and took the lead back.
The lead duo continued to battle for the lead, broken up occasionally when a caution flag flew.
The fight for the lead boiled over on lap 26, when Seawright and Putnam tangled, sending Seawright into the wall and bringing out the caution.
On the restart, Putnam began to pull away with the lead, and ran unchallenged the rest of the way to the win.
Jadon Frame finished in second, with Dane Dacus in third, Matt Cooper in fourth, and Matt Dooley in fifth.
Billy Franklin, Austin Franklin, Logan Mize, Seawright, and Shay Miller rounded out the top 10.
