Ronnie Johnson Takes Late Model Victory At Boyd’s

Ronnie Johnson scored a home track victory on Friday night at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.

The Chattanooga, Tennessee native took the checkered flag first for the Late Model feature win at the 3/8-mile banked clay raceway.

Robby Mason followed Johnson under the checkered flag to finish in second, with Brodie Sharp in third, Hayden Ownbey in fourth and Heath Hindman in fifth.

Heath Hindman, Kyle Courtney, Josh Walker, Justin Cameron, Ryan Tims, and Clayton Cooper rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Logan Palmer of Acworth, Georgia beat Ethan Hunter for the Crate Late Model feature win. Tim Clark followed in third, with A.J. Carlisi in fourth, and Cruz Skinner in fifth.

Booger Brooks scored the victory in the Sportsman feature. Matt Steward followed in second, with Cody Courtney in third, Sawyer Tinker in fourth, and Spencer Singleton in fifth.

Cory Bettis was the winner in the B-Hobby feature, with Brady Lee second, Johnny Hughes third, Jason Brown fourth, and Jim Gilbert fifth.

Derek Duggan took home top honors in the Pony feature. Jeremy Davis, Craig Erwin, Cordell Collins, and Zayne Burtz rounded out the top five.

Daniel Johnston topped the Beginner class field for the feature victory, with Garrett Williams in second, Jaykob Hawkins in third, Danielle Loner in fourth, and Julia Higgins in fifth.

Jack Gresham scored the win in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Austin Maples finished in second, followed by Dustin Duncan in third, Amelia McClain in fourth, and James Owen in fifth.
